EPISODES DELAYED, BUT THIRD SEASON IS A GO! That's right everybody. In a one-two punch of bad news and amazingly good news, we learned yesterday that new episodes of Teenage Robot will NOT air tomorrow as planned, but will be pushed back several months. While this is very disappointing for us and the fans, it is more than offset by the news that we have officially been picked up for a third season! And for you the viewers, that means not only can you look forward to 13 new episodes in Season Two, but there will be ANOTHER 13 episodes for Season Three. TWENTY-SIX NEW EPISODES! Woo-hoo! Hang in there folks and long live Jenny Wakeman! Posted by Hello

OH MY GOD!!! DELAYED TWICE?!? Seriously, you need to contact the producers on nickelodeon somehow and tell them we've been waiting long enough! I mean, it's already almost been a year since a new episode premired! Okay, 8 months, but still! We need to take action! Go on a strike or something! WE WANT OUR MY LIFE AS A TEENAGE ROBOT! They can take out some episodes of SpongeBob (besides, almost all the time it's showing either that, FOP, or Jimmy Neutron) in order to put new MLAATR episodes in, RIGHT?!?

..........rip off artist! they replaced season 2 for another couple of months? and i did notice that when i looked at the nick schedule.....i was looking for it and noticed it was another episode of mlaatr and i was like "O_o what the?!" and they show the sneak peek and it said tomorrow.....so yeah i'm badly confused, and so i look here and its delayed so i'm both annoyed to hear it was delayed and relieved theres a season 3......LETS ALL RIOT SPONGEBOB! hehe just playing but yeah still its not fair.

Wait a minute, I checked my TV's schedule and it says the new episodes! This one where Brad gets a new calculator and the one from the preview! There's still hope! YAY!!!

Speaking of which, what are the character's ages? (please don't say 5 for Jenny, I already know that part!)

courtney...

brad's a freshman, so that would put him around 14 or 15, and i think tuck is 12. wakeman? late thirties, early fourties?

Jenny's 'mental' age or whatever would be difficult to try to pin down. I think in some aspects of her development she is more sophisticated than others. I'd say her social development reflects that (generally) of a much younger person, or even a child, than other aspects of her personality.

Nickelodeon is a friggin' joke. My whole family tuned in to check out the new episode of MLAATR last night and we were very upset to see them pull this stunt. They advertise a program all week and then switch it at the last minute for what? To just piss off what few fans they have left? How can Nick honestly expect kids to keep tuning in to watch old shows they've aired to death because they are too friggin' cheap to purchase new episodes to keep their programming fresh? I guess they think kids will skip watching a brand new Foster's Home For Imaginary Friends, PPG and Billy & Mandy for The Channel Chasers Movie that is on every friggin' weekend for the past 3 months. Cartoon Network has to be seriously cutting into their viewership. They air at least 3 new never before seen toons every Friday while Nickelodeon does jack squat. Nickelodeon has to have some of the worst executives making decisions in the biz. This latest fiasco just proves this fact yet again.

That's why I love DVR. I don't have to pick and choose what to watch. As for new episodes, cartoon network pretty much only does animation while Nickelodeon does animation and other stuff. So it's just not fair to compare CN having more new episodes of their animated shows and look at the animated portion of Nickelodeon in comparison to that, in isolation with the other stuff they do. I'm sure if, like CN, Nickelodeon was nothing but animation, there'd be a lot more new episodes now.

I'm not sure if I get it or if its even available yet but I believe that there is supposed to be a 'nicktoons' channel at least being conceptually discussed that would be nothing but animation. However, I havn't really looked into that much. I should do some research into that online.

As for the issue of the delayed second season of Teenage Robot, I really feel that because the show wasn't really being promoted well that it was the right thing to do. Certainly the green light on the third season indicates Nickelodeon's (or Viacom's; the whole 'who calls the shots' issue is rather nebulous to me, perhaps another area I should research) well-placed confidence in the show. I think that a necessary step to ensure that the show gets to the widest audience so it can be successful is an excellent trade-off for merely having to wait a few more months for new episodes. I've been waiting since February 2004 and I really don't mind waiting some more.

Well worth the wait, I'm sure. Perhaps RoboRenzetti would wish to correspond. I have something he might be interested in.

Well I'm not complaining. Reason being.. I haven't had cable since March, due to somebody hacking into our system.

New Episodes won't be aired for several months?? But I Just watched the new 30 min episode last night. Whats goin on?

R.Radna said...

I'm not sure what area you're in so it's possible you lucked out, I suppose. In NYC, the cable company feed from Time Warner aired "See No Evil/The Great Unwashed," with the built-in cablebox show information identifying it as the new episode because of the apparently late decision to delay it. So while it's possible you actually did see the new episode somehow, without more information, it's also possible that you just saw "See No Evil/The Great Unwashed," hadn't seen it before, and thought it was the new episode.

I forgot to add something, that it would be polite for anyone who had somehow gotten a glimpse at the new episode to avoid disclosing any plot or other details on the blog since the majority of people havn't seen it, and would rather not know the details until they've had a chance to see it themselves.

I read on a message board where Canada has been airing the new episodes.

No, this wasn't "See No Evil" or "The Great Unwashed" (although I do love those episodes) This was a brand new episode. And yes I am in Canada, I guess that explains it. Perhapes some of you can watch it too on satallite, The new episodes are airing on a network called YTV.

Drop on by and browse through a huge archive of funniest joke

This is one of the many jokes i found amongst the many joke categorys:
A man walks into his favorite bar and saw a bum panhandeling. The bum asked if the man could spare a dollar. The man replied "If I give you money are you going to use it to buy liquor?" The bum said he would not, so the man asked "If I give you money are you going to use it for gambling?" Again the bum said he would not, so the man asked "Would you come home with me so I can show my wife what happenes to someone who doesnt gamble or drink?"
