TREMORTON. Several blog visitors asked to see an illustration of the city of Tremorton. We don't really have an overview of the entire city. Too big. This is one of the widest views I could find. We normally just draw locations as the need arises so Tremorton is constantly expanding.
GET JEN ON VIDEO FOR XJ9.95! Nope, it's not a real game, just one put together by XJ-Zero. Just yesterday THQ made a $75 million deal to make Nick games based on Spongebob, Fairly OddParents, Danny Phantom, everGirl, and a film called The Barnyard. No mention of Jenny. But we can always hold out hope.

LETTA'S GANG TAKES A BEATING. Here's a color character reference for Letta's interstellar biker gang after they've been defeated by Jenny in an upcoming episode. It was originally titled "Dance Fever" but has been retitled "Dancing with My Shell." Could it be that someone we all know and love goes to a dance with the Silver Shell?

WHERE'S JENNY?!?!? THQ and Nickelodeon have released a PlayStation2 game called "Nicktoons Movin' " which features characters from SpongeBob, Fairly Odd Parents, Jimmy Neutron, Rocket Power, and Danny Phantom. BUT NO JENNY!!! What the heck?!? Danny Phantom? We've been around a LOT longer than that neophyte ghostbuster has. And Rocket Power? Is that even still on the air??? I demand a recount!!! I'm out of order? You're out of order! This whole courtroom's out of order!!!! Let the letter-writing campaign commence!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

SHIPPING JENNY. Well today is a shipping day. That means everybody is extra busy trying to get all the materials ready to ship overseas to Rough Draft Studios in Korea. They'll be animating Episode 42, "Robot Riot," where Jenny gets in the ring with other robot competitors in a fight to the finish. (None of this has anything to do with the picture above. It's just a cool display in the main Nick conference room. What? You'd prefer a picture of the box we're shipping stuff in?)

Frederator Rules! For those of you in the dark, Frederator Studios is the powerhouse behind Teen Robot as well as Chalkzone and Fairly Odd Parents. (They also did a few shows over on Cartoon Network, but we don't talk about those...) We wouldn't be here without Frederator, so their poster is the first thing you see when you walk in. Hooray for Frederator. They make the entertainment you love and, more importantly, they sign my checks!

ENTER WAKEMAN'S WORLD. Our conference room is currently covered with background images for an episode called "Armagedroid," including this one for Wakeman's first aid station. Not that I wouldn't trust the esteemed Dr. Noreen Wakeman, but I'd still be a bit leery to enter this place for a check up.

THIS IS WHERE THE MAGIC HAPPENS! Okay, it's just my office. I couldn't think of anything else to put on the blog today. But if you look closely, you will see clues to the psyche of the guy putting together your Teenage Robot stories. Note the proliferation of skeletons and the Mary Kate and Ashley calendar. Nuf said.

MORE TEENAGE ROBOTS! I thought you guys might want to know that another company (not Nick) is developing a show about four robot girls going to high school to learn all they can about being a teenager. Hmmm? That sounds vaguely familiar. Where have I seen something like that before?

JENNY WATCHES OVER ME! As you enter the Teenage Robot area, a series of bright white Jenny's look down upon you, their everlasting smiles a beacon of hope or some such nonsense. I think they were holiday decorations from last December, but they're all coming down as we get closer and closer to our Halloween decor extravaganza. More to come!

POP ART JENNY - The artistic ability of our fans continues to amaze, enthrall, overwhelm, and distract us from the work we should be doing. And by "we," I mean "me." Rumor has it that the next writing gig on my plate is for an extra-long season three opening episode!

LIFE-SIZE JENNY GIGGLES FOR ALL ETERNITY! We see this laughing XJ9 every day when we walk through the Nickelodeon lobby, but like many of you, I'd still love to steal it and take it home for myself. It's by far the tallest cut-out in the building and consequently the best and most revered.

PAR-TAY! Well, last night was the big Teenage Robot crew party. It was supposed to be the second season premiere party, but we all know how that turned out. So it quickly became the "Hooray for Third Season Pick-Up" party. Just about everyone was there, including several spouses, one child, and a normally quiet character designer who was hugging everyone and telling them he loved them. Oh, and three kinds of cheese.

MNWATR ANYBODY? Does anybody out there remember when "My Life as a Teenage Robot" was called "My Neighbor Was a Teenage Robot?" Jenny started her animated life as part of a short for "Oh Yeah" cartoons with a different title and a freaky-looking Tuck. This poster promoting it hangs in our offices.
