I live in NC and I am currently checking the flight schedules and hotel bookings to see if I can afford to fly out for this show!

Oh man! My only chance of seeing the creators of Teenage Robot in person! I am looking forward to go to California and make reservations to see the making of MLAATR!

I have so many questions to ask the team! I hope to see you there!

I live in Michigan and when I get to California, it will be three hours earlier than my time here. So it will give me probably enough time before the show starts.

I wish I could go.

Oooohhhh, I wish I could go there too but it's way too far away because I am currently living in Malaysia. Also, the world is too big for me and I have no idea where this place is. I too wish that Jenny were with me so that she could carry me to any place I had ever wished. If there were some security guards who even bothered to ask me whether I had a passport, I could ask Jenny to kick their butts! (chuckles!)

This is both great news and bad news to me. It is great that you are doing this but Milwaukee is a great distance away from California, also being a struggling art student doesn't help.

If you could, please post pics and what-not up after this event is done so everyone who couldn't make it can see what all the whoop-la was about.

I feel it's important to mention that this fabulous event is available only to ASIFA members.

Fortunately, ASIFA membership is open to anyone with an interest in animation.

To prevent any disappointment at the front door to the gym, if you're planning to attend this event, you should become a member of ASIFA if you are not already one, and also RSVP your attendence to the e-mail address provided.

Here is a mail contact concerning ASIFA membership:

David Ehrlich
ASIFA Executive Board
RR 1, Box 50
Randolph, VT 05060

Check their website also. There may be a phone number you can call for faster application for membership.

Awww, peas. I'm very much stuck here at college. And with only 100 seats, I doubt I'd be be able to get in anyways. :(

So, uh, will you guys be selling a VHS or DVD of the event afterwards, or at least a CD of the talking? I'd pay good money just to see this "Spotlight" once, and I'm sure everyone who does go would like a copy for posterity. :)

Actually, you DON'T have to join ASIFA. It costs $10 for non-members. But you DO have to make sure you've reserved your place. Wouldn't want to miss this one.

Honest confusion over the posted event information. I thought the passage that stated "this is a free event for members of ASIFA-Hollywood and their guests" meant that only members could attend. Apparently, it meant that only members could attend without paying the ten dollars.

I hope everyone who attends has a great time and learns a lot about this awesome show.
